PERFECT RING TIMING TEST

Stop the shrinking ring inside the target band. Aim for its exact center line.

ROUNDS 0 / 15

Play 15 rounds at three ring speeds. Misses count, then the test continues.

READY?

MATCH THE TWO RINGS

The gold ring shrinks toward the green target. Stop it when both rings align.

SPEED — TARGET WIDTH —

Keyboard: Space · Mouse or touch: click or tap the circular arena. Early and late stops both count as misses.

HOW TO PLAY

Track the edge. Stop on the center line.

  1. 01

Start a round and locate the fixed green target band around the center.

  2. 02

Watch the larger gold ring shrink smoothly toward the target.

  3. 03

Press Space or tap the arena while the gold ring line is inside the green band.

VISUAL TIMING

What does shrinking-ring timing test?

The task combines smooth visual tracking, anticipation, and one precisely timed response. Random target sizes prevent one memorized delay.

Standard mode shuffles five slow, five medium, and five fast rounds. A miss still advances the test so accuracy remains meaningful.

READ YOUR RESULT

Accuracy first, absolute error second

Pixel error is the distance between the moving ring and target center. Time error converts that distance using the current shrink speed.

A lower error is better. Endless mode narrows the target and raises speed after every hit; one miss or timeout ends the run.

QUESTIONS

Perfect ring timing test FAQ

How do you play the perfect ring timing test?

Press Space or click or tap the arena while the shrinking gold ring is inside the green target band.

What counts as a hit?

The center line of the moving ring must be inside the target band when you stop it.

What is timing error?

It is the absolute distance from the target center, shown in pixels and converted to milliseconds at the current shrink speed.

How does endless mode get harder?

The ring shrinks faster and the target band becomes narrower after every hit. One miss or timeout ends the run.
