READY?

STOP INSIDE THE ZONE

The first target and every target after it appear in a random position.

Target position is randomized when each round starts.

Keyboard: Space or Enter · Touch or mouse: tap the timing bar or large STOP button.

HOW TO PLAY

Watch the pointer. Stop it in the target.

  1. 01

Start a round and find the highlighted zone on the horizontal timing bar.

  2. 02

Track the pointer as it moves back and forth at the shown speed.

  3. 03

Press Space or Enter, or tap the bar or STOP button, while the pointer is inside the zone.

VISUAL TIMING

What does a timing bar test challenge?

You combine visual tracking, anticipation, and a precisely timed response. The random target prevents a fixed memorized stop.

Standard mode includes five slow, five medium, and five fast rounds in a shuffled order. Every stop or timeout advances the game.

READ YOUR RESULT

Hit rate first, timing error second

A hit means the pointer center stopped inside the highlighted zone. Timing error estimates the travel time from your stop to the zone center.

Endless targets get narrower and pointer speed rises after every hit. Your first miss or timeout ends the run.

QUESTIONS

Timing bar test FAQ

What counts as a hit?

The center line of the pointer must be inside the highlighted target zone when you stop it.

Why does the target move?

A random target position on every round keeps the task focused on live tracking instead of repeating one learned delay.

What does timing error mean?

It is the estimated time the pointer would need to travel from your stopping position to the exact center of the target.

How does endless mode get harder?

Each successful hit narrows the target and increases pointer speed. One miss or timeout ends the run.
