READY?

TRACK THE SATELLITE

The gold arc marks the target. Aim for its center line, not merely its edge.

Mobile: tap the orbit field or large TAP button · PC: press Space.

HOW TO PLAY

Meet the center of the target arc

  1. 01

Follow the green pixel satellite as it moves clockwise around the planet.

  2. 02

Find the center marker within the gold target arc and anticipate the crossing.

  3. 03

Tap the field, use the large TAP button, or press Space at the exact center.

ABSOLUTE TIMING ERROR

Early and late count equally

The game converts the satellite's distance from the target center into milliseconds and records the absolute value.

A 40 ms early tap and a 40 ms late tap therefore produce the same 40 ms timing error.

READ YOUR RESULT

Lower error is better

Standard mode continues after every result. Every recorded tap contributes to average error; a full lap without a tap is a timeout.

Endless mode narrows the target arc and accelerates the orbit after every hit. One tap outside the arc ends the run.

QUESTIONS

Orbit tap timing FAQ

Do I tap anywhere inside the arc?

Aim for the center marker. Landing inside the arc counts as a hit, but the leaderboard score uses exact millisecond error from the center.

What happens if I never tap?

The current-lap bar empties after one orbit and records a timeout. Standard continues; endless ends.

How does endless mode get harder?

Every successful arc hit reduces the orbit duration and target width. A tap beyond the target arc ends the run.

Does reduced-motion mode work?

Yes. The satellite must still change position for gameplay, but extra CSS transitions are removed when reduced motion is requested.
