HOW TO PLAY

Warn, strike, block

  1. 01

A pixel enemy appears to the left, above, or right during the warning phase.

  2. 02

Wait for STRIKE. Then press the matching key or large direction button before the timing bar empties.

  3. 03

Complete all 24 standard waves, or defend one life while endless attacks accelerate.

DIRECTIONAL REFLEX

What does shield blocking challenge?

Each wave combines direction recognition with a timed three-choice response. The warning identifies the lane, while reaction time starts only when the strike begins.

Standard mode balances all three directions. Input device, display latency, and practice can influence browser reaction results.

Accuracy comes before speed

Accuracy includes every standard wave. Average and fastest block times use correct responses only.

Endless mode gives one life and reduces both warning time and the response window after each successful block.

QUESTIONS

Shield block reaction game FAQ

Which controls block each direction?

Use A or Left Arrow for left, W or Up Arrow for up, and D or Right Arrow for right. Mobile players use the three large buttons.

Can I block during the warning?

No. The buttons unlock when STRIKE appears, so the recorded time measures your response to the actual attack.

Are standard directions balanced?

Yes. A 24-wave standard run contains exactly eight left, eight up, and eight right attacks in shuffled order.

What ends endless mode?

The first wrong block or timeout ends the run. Every successful defense makes the next warning and response window shorter.
