GESTURE RECOGNITION

What does this game test?

Each round combines visual recognition, a four-way decision, and a fast motor response. Labels and fixed vector artwork keep every gesture identifiable without relying on color or platform emoji.

This is a recreational browser challenge, not a clinical assessment. Device latency, input method, attention, and practice can affect results.

Balance accuracy and speed

Standard mode presents every signal exactly five times. Accuracy includes wrong answers and timeouts; reaction averages use correct answers only.

For fair comparisons, repeat the same mode on the same device and use the same input method.

QUESTIONS

Hand signal reaction game FAQ

How many rounds are in standard mode?

Exactly 20: five each for fist, open hand, pointing, and peace. Every answer or timeout advances the game.

Which keyboard keys can I use?

Press 1, 2, 3, or 4 for the choices from left to right in their current randomized order. The key number is shown on every button.

How does endless mode work?

The deadline begins at 2.2 seconds and gets shorter after each correct match, down to 450 milliseconds. One mistake or timeout ends the run.

Does this work on a phone?

Yes. Four large labeled buttons support touch, and the layout adapts to narrow screens without requiring keyboard input.
