NUMBER COMPARISON GAME

What does this reaction game test?

Each trial combines visual scanning, number magnitude recognition, a three-way decision, and a quick response. Equal pairs appear alongside left-larger and right-larger pairs.

This is a recreational browser game, not a clinical or diagnostic assessment. Device latency, input method, attention, and practice can all affect the result.

Accuracy comes first

Standard accuracy is the percentage of all 20 answers that were correct. Average and best reaction times use correct answers only.

For a useful personal comparison, repeat the same mode on the same device and with the same input method.

QUESTIONS

Number comparison game FAQ

What do I press when the numbers match?

Choose EQUAL. On a keyboard, use Down Arrow or E. On a phone or tablet, tap the center EQUAL button.

Does a wrong answer end the standard game?

No. A wrong answer lowers accuracy and advances to the next trial. The standard game always ends after exactly 20 answers.

How does endless mode work?

Every correct answer adds to your streak and starts another comparison with a shorter deadline. One wrong answer or timeout ends the run.

Can I play on mobile and desktop?

Yes. The three large buttons work with touch, mouse, and assistive input. Desktop players can also use arrow keys or A, L, and E.
