VISUAL POSITION REACTION

What does the grid test?

The visual reaction grid combines detection, spatial attention, and choice speed. You must notice which location changed, map it to one of nine responses, and act quickly.

Standard mode records the response time of correct selections and accuracy across all 15 rounds. A wrong tile still advances the test, so both speed and control matter.

Compare consistent sessions

Average reaction time uses correct rounds only. Accuracy is the share of all rounds answered correctly, including early inputs and wrong tiles.

Input delay varies between keyboards, mice, and touchscreens. For a useful personal benchmark, replay on the same device with the same input method.

QUESTIONS

Visual reaction grid FAQ

How are reaction time and accuracy calculated?

Reaction time runs from the instant a tile lights up until you respond. The displayed average uses correct responses, while accuracy is correct rounds divided by every completed round.

How do the number keys map to the grid?

Keys 1, 2, and 3 match the top row; 4, 5, and 6 match the middle row; and 7, 8, and 9 match the bottom row. The number is also shown on every tile.

What changes in endless mode?

Every correct tile grows your streak and shortens the response deadline. Selecting the wrong tile, pressing early, or running out of time ends the run.

Does the game work on phones and tablets?

Yes. The grid is designed for touch, mouse, and keyboard play. Use the same device when comparing results because input latency can change your measured time.
