VISUAL CHOICE REACTION

What does emoji matching test?

Every trial combines rapid expression recognition with a four-way choice. The answer positions shuffle, so you must identify the meaning before responding.

Written labels and accessible names accompany every emoji. This recreational game is not a clinical emotion-recognition assessment.

QUESTIONS

Emoji match reaction game FAQ

How are standard trials balanced?

There are exactly 20 trials. Happy, sad, angry, and surprised each appear five times in a shuffled order.

Which keyboard keys can I use?

Use number keys 1 through 4. Each key selects the choice carrying that visible number, even after the buttons shuffle.

How does endless mode work?

The first response window is 2.2 seconds. It shrinks with each correct match to a minimum of 450 milliseconds. One mistake or timeout ends the run.

Does the game rely only on emoji?

No. Happy, sad, angry, and surprised are written on every choice and announced through accessible labels.
