FIND THE HIDDEN PIXEL CLUSTER

Look for a faint five-pixel diamond that moves to a new region every round.

KEYBOARD REGION SELECTOR · NUMPAD LAYOUT

Mouse or touch: hit the exact pixel target · Keyboard: choose its approximate region with the numpad-style controls or number keys.

HOW TO PLAY

Search the texture, not a grid

  1. 01

Watch the animated noise for a faint diamond-like cluster of five related pixels.

  2. 02

Ignore incomplete lines, corners, and flickering fragments that resemble parts of the target.

  3. 03

Click or tap the exact cluster, or use the keyboard region selector, before the timing bar empties.

LOW-CONTRAST SEARCH

Why use animated pixel camouflage?

The target shares its color family and pixel scale with the background. Dynamic noise and incomplete fragments reduce simple edge pop-out.

Standard mode balances three contrast levels and distributes targets across all nine broad regions without drawing visible grid boundaries.

ENTERTAINMENT CHALLENGE

Not a contrast-sensitivity test

This game is for entertainment and personal practice. It is not a clinical assessment of vision, contrast sensitivity, or eye health.

Display brightness, screen quality, ambient light, viewing distance, and device size can substantially change difficulty.

QUESTIONS

Camouflage target test FAQ

What does the hidden target look like?

It is a faint five-pixel diamond cluster. Distractors may contain incomplete lines or corners, but not the complete target.

Why is there a nine-region keypad?

It provides a clear keyboard alternative without placing visible grid lines over the camouflage texture.

How does endless mode get harder?

Target contrast falls, distractor fragments increase, and the search window shrinks after every hit.

Is this a clinical vision test?

No. It is a recreational visual-search game, not a medical or diagnostic assessment.
