HOW TO PLAY

Zoom out for GLOBAL, zoom in for LOCAL

  1. 01

Read the focus prompt above the pattern: GLOBAL or LOCAL.

  2. 02

For GLOBAL, identify the large H or S silhouette formed by the complete pattern.

  3. 03

For LOCAL, ignore the silhouette and identify the repeated small H or S letters.

HIERARCHICAL LETTERS

Why mix large and small letters?

Each pattern contains two levels of information at once. The large silhouette is the global level; the repeated building blocks are the local level.

Standard mode balances both focus rules and includes equal congruent and conflicting trials, so one visual level cannot always predict the answer.

ENTERTAINMENT CHALLENGE

Screen size, font rendering, viewing distance, practice, and input method can all change a result.

QUESTIONS

GLOBAL and LOCAL alternate every trial, the answer window shrinks, and one error or timeout ends the run.

No. It is a recreational attention game, not a medical or diagnostic assessment.
