WHICH LASTS LONGER?

Watch both flashes before answering. Shape, size, and brightness stay the same.

Keyboard: 1 or A for FIRST · 2 or L for SECOND. Touch or mouse: tap a large answer button.

HOW TO PLAY

Compare time, not appearance

  1. 01

Watch the first light switch on and off. Keep its duration in mind.

  2. 02

Watch the same light appear again for the second interval.

  3. 03

When both are finished, choose FIRST or SECOND before the answer bar empties.

TEMPORAL COMPARISON

Only the elapsed time changes

Both intervals use the same light block, position, color, and brightness. The display duration is the only clue.

Standard mode balances the correct answer across 12 FIRST and 12 SECOND trials to avoid a side bias.

ENTERTAINMENT ONLY

Accuracy comes before speed

Response time starts only after the second light disappears, so watching time never inflates your decision score.

This recreational game is not a medical, psychological, or cognitive diagnostic assessment.

QUESTIONS

Duration comparison FAQ

Can I answer while a light is showing?

No. Watch both intervals first. The answer buttons and keyboard controls activate only after the second light ends.

Are the two blocks visually different?

No. They use the same block in the same place. Only how long it remains illuminated changes.

How does endless mode get harder?

The time difference becomes smaller and the answer window shortens as your correct streak grows. One mistake ends the run.

Is this a diagnostic test?

No. It is for entertainment and practice. Display refresh rate, attention, and device conditions can affect results.
