DODGE AWAY FROM DANGER

Use Left or A to dodge left. Use Right or D to dodge right. On mobile, tap a side.

The timing bar starts when the danger appears. Moving before it appears is a false start.

HOW TO PLAY

Read the attack, then dodge away

  1. 01

Start the game and keep both directions ready during the short random pause.

  2. 02

Watch for a red pixel hazard charging from the left or right side.

  3. 03

Move away from it before the timing bar empties: right for a left-side threat, left for a right-side threat.

REACTION + DIRECTION

What does this game test?

Dodge Reaction combines visual detection with a spatial decision. You must notice the attack side, reverse that information into a safe direction, and act before impact.

The incoming animation and written prompt both identify the danger, so success does not depend on color alone. Keyboard and touch inputs are supported.

READ YOUR SCORE

Speed matters only when the dodge is correct

Average and best reaction times use correct dodges only. Accuracy divides correct dodges by all completed rounds, including wrong directions, false starts, and timeouts.

Standard mode completes all 20 rounds. Endless mode gives you one life while the attack animation and timing window accelerate toward 450 milliseconds.

QUESTIONS

Dodge reaction game FAQ

Which direction should I dodge?

Always move away from the hazard. If it charges from the left, dodge right. If it charges from the right, dodge left.

Which keyboard controls work?

Use Left Arrow or A to dodge left, and Right Arrow or D to dodge right. The large on-screen buttons work with a mouse or touchscreen.

What happens after a mistake?

In standard mode, a wrong direction or timeout lowers accuracy and the next round begins. In endless mode, the first mistake ends the run.

What does the timing bar show?

It shows how long remains before the incoming hazard reaches the player. Endless mode reduces that window as your streak grows.
