PIXEL REFLEX

REVERSE SPATIAL RECALL · 10 ROUNDS

BACKWARD CORSI TEST

Watch nine irregular blocks, then reproduce every sequence in reverse order.

ROUNDS0 / 10

Play 10 rounds from span 3 to span 12. Mistakes count, then the next round still begins.

READY?

WATCH FORWARD. ANSWER BACKWARD.

The blocks are numbered for keyboard access. Do not respond until playback ends.

BLOCK FIELD READY

Keyboard: keys 1–9, or Tab then Enter / Space · Touch or mouse: select the numbered blocks. Enter the sequence backward.

HOW TO PLAY

Reverse the complete spatial sequence

  1. 01

Watch the irregular blocks light up one at a time. Controls stay locked during playback.

  2. 02

After the final flash, start with the last block you saw and work backward to the first.

  3. 03

Finish before the answer bar empties. Standard continues after errors; endless ends on the first miss.

SPATIAL SEQUENCE MEMORY

Why is the board irregular?

The scattered layout makes position, rather than a familiar row or grid order, the main cue. Reversing the sequence adds a second mental operation after recall.

Standard mode increases span from 3 through 12 and reports the highest span you reproduce correctly.

ENTERTAINMENT CHALLENGE

Not a diagnostic memory test

This game is for entertainment and personal practice. It is not a validated clinical Corsi Block-Tapping Task or a measure of cognitive health.

Practice, distraction, display size, browser timing, input device, and familiarity with the board can all change a result.

QUESTIONS

Backward Corsi test FAQ

Do I enter the sequence forward or backward?

Backward. Select the last block first, then continue in the exact reverse of the displayed order.

What happens after a standard-mode mistake?

The error is recorded, but the next round still begins with a sequence one block longer.

How does endless mode work?

It starts at span 3, adds one block after every correct round, and ends after the first wrong selection or timeout.

Is this a clinical assessment?

No. It is a recreational spatial-memory challenge and should not be used for diagnosis or medical decisions.
