READY?

SAME OR DIFFERENT?

Judge direction only. Ray length and center position are harmless distractions.

Keyboard: S for SAME · D for DIFFERENT. Touch or mouse: tap a large answer button.

HOW TO PLAY

Compare direction, ignore everything else

  1. 01

Look at the direction of the unmarked ray in each panel.

  2. 02

Ignore differences in ray length or center position; they never determine the answer.

  3. 03

Choose SAME or DIFFERENT before the answer timing bar empties.

CONTROLLED DISTRACTORS

Only orientation carries the answer

Both ray lengths and both center positions are randomized independently with the same ranges on every trial.

Those details cannot reveal SAME or DIFFERENT. Compare the direction in which each ray points.

ENTERTAINMENT ONLY

Accuracy comes before speed

Standard mode contains exactly 12 SAME and 12 DIFFERENT trials. The different-angle gap narrows across its 12 appearances.

This recreational game is not a medical, psychological, eyesight, or cognitive diagnostic assessment.

QUESTIONS

Angle match reaction FAQ

Do the ray lengths need to match?

No. Ignore length. Choose SAME whenever the two rays point at the same angle, even if one is shorter.

Why are the center dots in slightly different places?

Their positions vary to keep you focused on direction. Position is randomized independently and does not signal the answer.

How does endless mode get harder?

Different angles become closer and the answer window gets shorter as your streak grows. One error or timeout ends the run.

Is this an eyesight test?

No. It is a recreational browser game. Screen size, display quality, input method, and practice can all affect results.
