AUDITORY CHOICE REACTION
Each trial combines sound localization, a two-way decision, and a quick physical response. Standard mode balances left and right cues across 15 trials.

AUDIO COMPATIBILITY
The game first tries true stereo panning. On older browsers it uses separate audio channels, then falls back to a lower left tone and a higher right tone.

They are strongly recommended because each cue is sent toward one audio channel. Speakers can work, but room acoustics and speaker position make the direction less distinct.
Exactly 15. The cue list contains either seven or eight trials from each side, and wrong answers or timeouts still count toward the total.
The first cue allows 2.5 seconds. The deadline becomes shorter after correct answers until it reaches 550 milliseconds. One mistake or timeout ends the run.
